East Turkestan Foundation Business Plan
- Fund source of income
- Risk Analysis
- Fund expenditure plan
The Chinese Communist Party's massacre of Uyghurs and other ethnic groups in East Turkestan has been unprecedented in human history. With the modernization of transportation, the development of telephone and face recognition technologies at an unprecedented level, the Chinese side's genocide in East Turkestan has caused unprecedented oppression mainly for Uyghurs.
China's genocide against the Uyghurs is not only a serious violation of the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which is a world value, but also the Chinese Communist Party's globalization of fascism, violence, dictatorial policies, corruption, exploitation of high-profile human rights abuses to weak Uyghurs. Western countries such as the United States have been unanimously forced to take action to stop the massacre because of its exports of genoside. The issue of East Turkestan has become the most talked name about geographical region in the strategy of the world's great powers beyond the region.
The Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020 was passed in the United States on June 17, 2020, On October 21, 2020, the Canadian Parliament declared the Chinese government’s policy towards the Uyghurs a genocide and expressed its economic support for projects related to resolving the issue by allocating appropriate funding. The fight against this massacre was not only a step towards protecting the Uyghurs, who had no broken iron in their hands, from the world’s first major Communist-dominated state, but also from a second-largest military power, but in essence a step to protect Western values.
In October 2020, 39 countries, including most of the European Union, joined the United Nations in condemning China's policy toward the Uyghurs. In this context, the East Turkistan Foundation which was established to resist the organizational, political, educational, and economic problems and to strengthen post-genocide recovery capacity of the General Social Structure of Uyghurs has become an urgent need.
Najmidin Shirip who proposed the establishment of the East Turkestan Foundation is an Uyghur and was born in the area where the genocide is currently taking place. He has been jailed twice in China for eight and a half years on charges of attempting to split the country and forming an illegal organization. After his release from prison, he was an experimenter who founded consulting companies and computer media companies, and participated in the founding of the Silk Road Entrepreneurship Fund, the Silver Rabbit Education Fund, and the Tograk Enterprise Development Fund.
Yusuf Tohti, one of the founders of the fund, vice-president and expenditure recorder, has done business in China and Egypt, has made a good impression among Uyghurs in exile due to his honesty and seriousness in economic management and plays an indispensable role in the systematic management of the fund's expenditures.
Following the launch of the fund, the Swedish Uyghur Association, the French Uyghur Association, the American Uyghur Association, and the Canadian East Turkistan Association expressed their full support for the foundation.
One of our positive aspects is that the support of political activists in Uyghur society, the reduction of fund expenditures and the expansion of income streams through volunteer work is also one of our positive aspects.
- Fund source of income
The source of income of the fund is initially starts with the help of Uyghur communities and assosiations from all over.
Once the structure of the fund is basically formed and the project applicants are staffed, we can also increase revenue streams by applying for projects that are in line with our spending plan in accordance with the relevant legal regulations in Western countries.
- Risk Analysis
According to the Tibet Foundation's website, the Tibet Foundation receives more than $ 170 million annually for education and the comprehensive development of Tibetans.
The population of Uyghurs abroad is more than double the population of Tibetans. However, due to the lack of a systematic fund called the East Turkestan Foundation, which systematically receives and distributes educational aid for development funds, the sympathy and political opportunities created for the Uyghurs in the international situation are being wasted.
Although the Uyghurs have regional roots, there is no fund to develop entrepreneurship, political education, the capacity of Uyghurs abroad to improve their resilience to genocide, and an action plan that is in line with the international political situation. The East Turkestan Foundation is the only non-competing project in this regard. Is it possible that another major risk would be the lack of planned funding from foreign countries and the Uyghurs?
Will the U.S. or Canadian government implement a real economic aid plan not only it makes a statement about the Uyghurs, or legislates?
In fact, the Uyghur issue has already become an urgent issue for testing the values of the Western countries. Attention and investment opportunities on the Uyghur issue will never be lost halfway. The flow of funds and the inability to receive funds will, of course, determine our efforts and the favorable policies the region has created for us.
- Fund expenditure plan
The East Turkestan Foundation's start-up fund is € 50,000. The main task at this stage is to invest in minimum lost sectors to generate indispensable resources and to fund specific projects.
